Happy New Year!
We love the new year. It is our version of Spring cleaning. Taking down the Christmas decorations allows us an opportunity to change things up and make alterations to the décor. This year we are going in big and making some great changes on the farm both inside and outside.
Over the next few weeks, you will start to see some major changes here on the blog as well. We will be changing the appearance to better represent us and our new direction as we move to a sustainable lifestyle. We are excited to share more of our farm experience, routine, and plans with you here on the blog. Ella will share more of her recipes, animals, and gardening with you on Instagram so be sure to follow us on Instagram, cedaroakfarms.
Perhaps the biggest change we are considering is what to do with the farm going forward. We will be reviewing the past year and begin to implement some changes. We are not certain where that will take us. We will either go big, or go home. If we go big you can expect more market space, a new rustic kitchen to provide you with more baked goods, breads, dinners, and more exciting events for the whole family. We are also considering closing the farm to the public. If we close the farm, we will keep our online presence and offer our spices and jams here, but we would no longer open the farm. We welcome your feedback as we make this decision.
