Cajun Seasoning: Recipe Inspiration

Shrimp ‘N Grits

It just would not be a cajun seasoning if we did not include Shrimp ‘N Grits for inspiration. You cannot get more Southern than this dish. The shrimp are cooked in a creole red sauce spiced up with our Cajun Seasoning. The grits are creamy and cheesy filled with two kinds of cheese and beyond delicious. Topped with chopped andouille sausage for another layer of sweet heat.

Brown Bag Catfish

Our Cajun seasoning makes the perfect blackened spice and what better way to use blackened spice than on a otherwise bland white fish like catfish. This recipe cooks and serves the catfish in a brown bag. Using a paper bag to cook foods helps to retain moisture and seal in flavor. Our Cajun seasoning gives the dish some sweet heat with a perfect blend of selected herbs and spices.
